Just wondering how much would be a suitable amount for a water change on a 60g cube with a 20g sump. Got a Reef Octopus NWB-150 for the skimmer. Will be a medium stocked tank mainly focused on LPS, Leathers, and Zoa's.

Im thinking a 10g every two weeks or a 5g weekly?

I have a 55 gallon with a 30 gallon sump, and I do 10 gallons every two weeks. I would think that would be sufficient for your situation, too.

It will really depend on your bio load / water conditions.

This is what I was going to say. Depending on what fish you have and what corals will determine. If it's just a few fish and mushrooms, then not much, not often, but if it's SPS and more fish, them more...you get the idea...

I beleive the general rule is 20% volume change over the course of a month. your system would be 80 gallons total (less in reality with live rock displacement etc..) so the 5 gallon per week average sounds perfect. The solution to pollution is dilution as they say. Monitor water parameters to see if increased water changes are needed. If nitrates become a little high increase water changes.
