Curious if this is a finicky coral for others. I had two frags that where doing very well and then just went south. One was at the top with high light and flow, the other was mid light and high flow. I used to have a piece that I got from Jason (corndog) a while ago that was a nice colony until my tank crashed. One of my favorite corals too :headwally:

One my favorites as well. Still 3 years strong with the one's I have, but have experienced alot of base growth before sprouting tips. Mid light and high flow.

Maybe an alk swing? I notice some of my corals always "go south" whenever I "accidentally" have an alk swing. Mostly when I am overcorrecting alk when calcium reactor tuning and don't do tests during the week that it is "settling in".

Hope not but will dip. Everything else is doing good and haven't had any issues in a long time. Tank has been on an upswing except for these bonsais.

Almost killed mine a while back due to an alk swing but it survived when my tri color valida and pearleberry didnt. Its doing well now but I can still see some discoloration down in the center of the colony. The alk swing also wiped out my oregon tort.:headwally:
