I still think for emergency only situations, my 6500k Oriental knockoff model for $300 is a much better value then spending a grand. It ran all 3 of Daniel's (Onesaltydawg) tanks & his frig...............I'll keep the extra $700 & spend it on "real" reef equipment!!!
 
In disaster situations you may not want to let others to know you have gas/electric generator. People have stole for much less and getting hurt or killed over it is not an option. Hurting others is not a good option either :)
