How many watt is your light? Anemones need high light. If your light is not good enough the nem will slowly bleaching and starting to eat their tentacles and starve to dead. If you see the mouth gaping then you need to worry. At the beginning it will hide in caves, it is acclimating to your tank. Keep your parameters stable.
Ok, mouth is still closed and color is good so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
I'm not entirely sure what they are on this tank but I know that they are only running at about 70% brightness right now, which is apparently the maximum that some of the corals can handle.
On my 20 gal nano that the anemone will be going into, I just have an 18 watt Current USA Orbit fixture that I've been growing softies with. But my plan was to supplement that with a Kessil once I actually get the nem in there. I just need to figure out which Kessil to buy. I almost pulled the trigger on a Sky Blue 150w earlier today on ebay, do you think that would be sufficient in addition to the Orbit?
