Gbta Naturaly Split

Hopefully it split because of good conditions. They will split if they're stressed as well. The pics you posted make the nem look a little bleached (but that's just how it looks to me); and if it's in your 14 gallon the parameters may be fluctuating a bit. 14 gallons is pretty small for a BTA if that's the tank it's in.

The original does look mildly bleached-what lighting do you have on it? What's the tankload for the tank this is in?

That picture isn't that great it has a little more green pigment but it is light. it has like darker green spots to They seem to be looking good other than the lightness in color. How do they get bleached? Would that be to much light?

Lights Are 1 24w 50/50 and 1 24w Actinic Not much i know There just power compacts. Ill postr pics of tank before the nem about 6 months ago.

Unstable water parameters will cause bleaching and a 14g because of it's size will not always be stable. Low lighting can also cause this.

How old are your bulbs?
How long are the lights on for?
What is your SG and other parameters?
Water change schedule?

My bulbs are 6 months old.
TIMER SCHEDULE IS
actinic 2pm- 10pm
50 50 3 30 through 8pm
I have 8 led lunars on all time.
SG= 1.023
I do a 2 gal water change every 10 days

This is what I would do. Slowly raise the SG to 1.025-1.026. Increase the photo period slowly by :30 every three days until you have the actinic on for 9hrs, say from 1 - 10pm. The 50/50 on for 8 hours, say from 1:30-9:30pm. Your current 4 1/2 hours is not enough daylight, especially since you are not running a true daylight bulb.
