GBTA problem?

I got my nem on wednesday and acclimated it for about 2 hours with lights off and let it acclimate that whole day. the next day i only ran actinics. it was coming out from behind the rock it set on. the day after that i turn on the a 250w halide on the other side of the tank and let it acclimate to that. it started coming out more and more. today i turned on the halide on its side of the tank and it was open and my 2 clowns were hosting in it. tonight i realized its mouth is a little open and it looks like one of the clowns was nipping at the mouth. there doesn't seem to be any damage. can you tell me what you think?




i dose DT's phyto plankton in the tank once a week and plan on dosing twice a week now that the nem is in the water.

i have 0 amm, 0 rite, <10 ates, undetectable phosphates and little algae. 450 calc, 8dkh,

the tank it self is an upgrade and has run for 3 months after the upgrade the water and rock has been run in another tank for 8 months...

Have you fed it anything yet? My btas use to do that when hungry.

hmm no i haven't ill try and feed it some clam tomorrow morning. i hope thats what it is. i really like this bta
