GBTA splitting... then decided not to

My GBTA has two mouths now and is shaped like a heart. It started splitting then decided it didnt wan to and healed up. Now it looks like a heart. Every now and then it seems like it may finish but not yet. Anyone ever experience this? Anything i can do to encourage the split.

It has happened before. There are a couple threads on here about it. Big water changes and frequent feedings will encourage the split to finish but it may take a few months.

mine did the same thing, but even worse and never ended up splitting no matter what I did. It was the craziest thing I ever saw.

Mine has done almost the same thing. It ripped it self almost in half. Then stopped and heald back up. It hides all the time now.

Doing good so far, I cut it Monday. I'd take a picture but I just made it deflate when I turned off the pumps to feed and it got exposed to air. I cut one of the clones last month and it's all healed now.
