It’s not really referred to as gen 3. It’s referred to as the VS12 and it’s been out since late 2012. The difference between that version and the one before it was the addition of the AKB (anti-lime bypass) on the pump. The body really hasn’t changed since it’s inception. Just some minor pump changes/upgrades.
