would i be able to keep a genicanthus angel pair in my 70 gal cube tank(30 x 30 x 18)?
bellus? lemark? watanabei?

i believe most of them in the wild get to about 6inches in total.

I think you could but it would be stretching it just a little bit. These are active swimmers.

Piggy backing on this question, what would you suggest as an adequate size tank for this type of fish? Also, do you have any suggestions for a large angel in a 110 gal tank or do you feel that swimming room would be excessively restricted?

I have two female swallowtails (trying to get a change) in my 75g one about 5" and one about 2" and they do fine. I really think for long term success they would need a big tank for growth and exercise.

BTW I am upgrading to a 220g next month.

I have a pair of Swallowtails in my 5' 120 and I feel like it is a little to cramped for my male. He is full grown and beautiful. I am sure it is sufficient but I wish there was more room for him.

You know you guys are talking me right out of one. Oh well, I gusee I can live without one. Beautiful fish though. Thanks!

2 females might be OK when small. If you get a male/female pair, then the male will likely be too big.

6' tank is probably best, but a 5' would be OK.
