I wasn't talking about your needs, I was referring to mine. If you need/want an add on canister, then it should be no problem because he makes them.

All of his designs are re-circulating unless of course someone requests a customization. Mine uses a MJ 1200 for water injection and a MAG5 for recirculation, the canister holds an 8 lb. bottle of A.R.M. The skimmer sounds like a monster and I'm sure you'll be very happy with it, as I also have a 120 and my GEO skimmer is only 26" tall.

Based on what I have read here, it appears no one has any complaints about Geo products. Well, you have convinced me to utilize Geo's Calcium Reactor and Kalk Reactor in the system I am building. Thanks for the great feedback!

I've been using both in my system for over a year and it work's out perfect. I've never had a problem with any of my GEO equipment.

Afternoon!! Although I currently run an MR-1 on a 75g, I recently bought an entire system from a fellow RC'er. The package comes with a Geo Skimmer as well as a CR. I really bought the system for the tank (kinda weird but I am in love with the AGA 120g and must have one to replace my AGA 75g) and consider the other things as extra's. It must not have registered in my head until now, but the skimmer is 36" tall. Could someone tell me what model number that is or where I can get additional info on it please?? He was running a GenX/Mak4 on the skimmer. I looked on his site and only saw two skimmer models. As for the CR, I have no idea of the dims yet. I haven't taken possession of the system yet. Technically I am a member of both the Geo Club and the MRC Club.

Here are some pictures of my skimmer and CR. Any idea what models these are??

That looks like my CR, but I've never seen a GEO skimmer like that. CR should handle your 120 just fine. Skimmer looks like it should too.

Yes.............If you are not going to use a ph probe, you could put a pvc screw in plug instead of the probe holder.

I'm ordering the 6X12 today but need some help on which guage to get. Can anyone tell me the best one to get ?

Thanks,

Jimmy

What do you mean by gauge? CO2 pressure gauge or pH controller?

Do I need both ? I was talking about the CO2 guage with the bubble counter. GEO just sent me an email with a link to a good guage. What do you guys think of this one ?

It's worked flawless ever since I've had it.

Great to hear :) I placed my order at Premium Aquatics and should have the reactor by Monday. I also ordered 15Lbs of media. I think that should be plenty. I'm going to pick up a tank at Bass Gas here in Chicago. I'm just asking for a 10LB CO2 filled tank.....correct ?

My new GEO 612 has arrived but I'm pretty sure I need a PH Controller. Does anyone have any advice on what I need or should get ? Here is one that I found PH Controller but I'm not sure if this is what I need.

Jimmy
