That's the one I use and it works great.

Thank You !

I will be picking up my CO2 tank today and should have the PH monitor by tomorrow. I'll be back when I'm ready to set it up. Thanks for all your help.

That's the one I have too, But my GEO 6X18 dos'nt have the fitting in the top for the probe, Have to put the drip line in a cup in my sump. I talked to GEO to get the fitting but that was weeks ago. So I guess I'm out of luck.

I think you would need a whole new lid if your's doesn't have the probe fitting.

This is paid for, and will be arriving soon hopefully. I ordered a custom 618 with solid connections and an 8"x11" base. I liked my kalk reactor so much, I had to get me one of these.

i have a geo reactor, got it a few months ago. the o-ring groove had some big gouges/tool marks in it and it always leaked. i had to spread a thin layer of silicone in it to even out the bottom and get it to seal.

Did you try asking Geo for a new o-ring?

I get to get in on the GEO Club!

I get to get in on the GEO Club!

I just received my custom 628 skimmer - I could not be happier with it. Not only did George spend about 2 hours with me on the phone and redesigning the footprint to get it into my sump, but he made it and shipped it in 7 days!!

I love the quality of construction (it just feels solid) and its already skimming like crazy.

If I had 3 thumbs, they would all be up for this product line.

no, it was the groove in the flange, not the o-ring. with the gouges in the bottom of the groove, the o-ring couldn't seal (i tried tightening and lubing the seal and nothing worked). to fix it i would have had to send the entire unit to him to either route it out slightly deeper or replace the whole flange and i wasn't about to do that when $.03 worth of silicone would fix it. i would never use silicone to fix a glue joint, but in my case it's just acting like an extra gasket so i don't mind.

i was using schuran but switched to ARM and things are doing much better.

Does anyone know how I can get in touch directly with George of GEO? I am looking ot have a custom sump made and would like to talk with him about a skimmer and reator too? Seems like the general sentiment is that they are high quality.

Ooh. Ooh. I'm in. I'm in.

Hey guys I just got my Geo 612 and it looks like a great piece of equipment. I don't want to rob this thread but I figured I'd ask those of you that do have the Geo's a question. I'm setting mine up and am a bit confused. Do you need a filter/screen above the media???? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks Ray:rolleye1:
