Getting out...

lcs

It's Spring!!!!!!!
Hey all! I have decided it is time for me to get out. I haven't had the time to care for the tank and when I do, I don't want to. I will put together a post with pics and such, but for now here's what I have. Trying to gauge interest.

The equipment is only a year and a half old.

Standard 125 - drilled with beananimal drain - $200
Store bought stand - $150
Canopy made my Joe and Joe's Woodworks - $250
30g long sump, divided - $30
Aquamaxx 200 EM skimmer - $250
Laguna 1500 return pump - $100
two 24" Reefbreeder LEDs with remotes that work - these are about two years old, a year and a half running. They are hung in the canopy, but are easily removed. - $100 for both

Obviously it would be easiest if someone wanted all the equipment, but especially the tank, stand, and sump with all the plumbing.

Two 10g tanks - free

Livestock - all free:
fish:
4" tomini tang
small female ocellaris clown - she is being hosted by the nem, would like them to go together, but not necessary
tailspot blenny
adult male melanurus wrasse

invertebrates:
bleached RBTA and rock
bleached maxi-mini nem - had a heater issue and tank was at 90 for quite a while. Nems will need some TLC, but I think they will come back.
purple gorg with large polyps - doing really well
small, purple gorg, with small polyps (frilly gorg?) - could be doing better, but is tough
9ish head duncan
large colony of frogspawn on a large rock - the rock has some large aiptasia and algae on it, I would recommend removing the frogspawn and killing the rock
4" neon green toadstool
1.5" neon green toadstool
three greenish/pinkish mushrooms on a small rock
a large, flat rock with about a dozen blue rics and some button polyps
two green rics that I think are on the RBTA's rock
4 heads of blasto - standard green center with red skirt
and of course some snails - a few turbos and a couple astreas

I think that's everything. I will be sure to get pictures up soon. The livestock and rock are free for a couple of reasons - 1) this is a very generous community and I would like to contribute to that, especially for anyone starting out and 2) the rock has some aiptasia - not bad, but still a PITA - and some species of algae that I introduced on a frag years ago and have never been able to eradicate so you won't be able to just dump it in a tank.

Hopefully someone can take the rock first and then go from there.

Sent you a pm

Pms replied. I will go in order of when pms are received.

I should probably have mentioned that I am in Brockport.

Once I have pics, I will also be posting on the Rochester Reefers group as well.

Hey Lisa, very sorry to see you getting out! Some of us have had to face this very same decision based on life. Hope to see you back some day, and just remember when you do come back there will be some frags waiting for you! Good luck with your sale!

Aw, thanks so much!! I don't suppose you have room for the frogspawn ;) It came from you, after all! The aiptasia are a bonus!! :D

I think I've responded to everyone in the right order. This isn't easy to keep track of! So far the fish, nem, and most of the corals are spoken for...I think...now I just need folks to take the rock off my hands!

If any of the original folks end up not taking stuff, I will be back to let you know and also when the equipment and tank are ready to go.

I will take the frogspawn for sure. I would also be all in on the ricordea if they're a possibility. You know me, I'm a big softie for ricordea

I didn't get a response

I just checked through my inbox and I don't see one, sorry! I think most of the live stock is spoken for, but there is still plenty of live rock and of course, the equipment except for the lights are available.

Very generous of you, Lisa.
Let me know when you start up again, I'll send you some LE high end Aiptasia.

Who let you out?! :hammer: :wildone:

You are soooo nice!!! Except I'm already being so kind and generous in providing some local folks with some Super Dooooper LE Aiptasia of my own!! Just spreadin' the love.

The tank, sump, and pump are certainly available! It's going to be a few weeks at least before everything is out of the tank. Do you want the stand and/or canopy as well? Need any rock?

Tank, sump, stand, canopy, return pump, and skimmer still available.

Also...

200g box of Seachem Reef Salt - $50
TLF 150 reactor - $30 with pump, $20
Aquafuge, medium, with ViaAqua pump $50, with light and legs $75
ESV B-Ionic 2-part; never used, but opened a year ago - $10

33gal flatback hex tank and stand - 36" X 12" X 24" high - free. This tank is 18 years old, but holds water. I had water in it about a year ago and it was fine. It's free because it's so old and I want it gone. Great for freshwater.

Will be posting miscellaneous stuff soon - various heaters, pumps, etc.

There is some great pieces of live rock and the equipment was all kept in top notch shape! If there wasn't a baby on the way and I had a bigger house and my wife said that I could I would have picked up the tank too!

Yes, the stand tank and canopy are very nice
