I'm sure you divers den vultures have already seen the pic. lol I am so excited. If you all are interested I'll post pictures of it in my tank tomorrow.
Yes yes! We're interested! It's beautiful!!! I think for those anemone fans out there - it would be a nice idea for you to have a little thread on it... and how it acclimates into the tank... you know - for the first week or two until it's settled and happy - what it does and how it acts in it's new home!
Will do What do you H. Malu owners think of its color? Do you think it is little light or thats a normal shade for this anemone? I think it might darken up a bit in my tank after a while. Well, I'm off to do my weekly water change.
Hopefully it will get its foot connected to some thing and face itself tward the light. Its funny where it is at right now..thats where the ocellaris pair sleeps at night.
mouth isn't closed tight yet..looks like it is settling in a bit. I am not sure if its foot attached yet. I'll post another pic tomorrow with the MH lights on.
Its mouth is still open I think I see some turd on its mouth. Foot is still not attached. When I saw it lift up its tentacles for a bit I could see a space between its foot and the sand..
although it kinda looked like its pushed its foot in the sand a bit.
This is my first sebae so..Do they swish their foot back and forth to get its foots planted (like a LTA) or does it just push its foot in?
I would dig a hole near a rock. Every sebae type anemone I have ever had preferred to be at the sand/rock interface and attach its foot to a rock under the sand.
ok cool..as long as this looks normal to you guys..Then I'll try not to stress about it. I know about BTAs and LTAs...so what ever advise you can give me on my Sebae would be much appreciated.
