Ghetto Rig

As soon as I get the time I'm making a DIY caulerpa scrubber and a majano scrubber. I've got 2 plastic tubs that I was using at school but have no further use for. Just gotta pick up a UV sterilizer and some extra plumbing and they'll be done by the end of the summer :)

Bump for more. I almost peed my pants yesterday laughing so hard. Loved the Jetson-style lettering on the French onion dip container. More food containers please...

till i can get (2) 60mm fans that will fit on the feeding door & still use it on my biocube 8, i have this 120mm w/ a wall wart spiced on just propped up.....dropped tank temps from 82 to 78 in about 1-2hrs :)

i have measured & i can get (2) 60mm fans side-by-side & still have about 3" in the center. i'm gonna order the fans & mount them to the door & drill some holes in the door for them to pull air thru

wow, those lights are scary, what happens when they get bumped?

still working on them. added a lip to keep it centered front to back, but it was after the pics were taken.

**edit**

the ballast is also moved under the tank w/ proper 'drip' loops

I dont know, Ive always prefered my ballast dangling over the tank, it gives it a sense of reality. I also float a small oil tanker on the surface and make sure the tiny captain is drunk.

bump for user... crack'n me up lol

Don't encourage him...

I have had some super ghetto stuff in the past. Just no pictures.
In my opinion GHETTO=GREAT

For now I have this picture of my AIO 10 Gal.
If the picture were closer you could see my Sharpie marks and terrible silcon job.
Also, I must have been on crack because I put the painted side of the black back on the display side of the tank.

Time to hunt through my old picture galleries for that acrylic 50 gal with all bracing cut away.
