this is my ghetto bit
i just recently took my glass tops off and the overflow was still a lil loud so i had some acrylic sheets in the garage left over from my sump so i popped a couple pieces and put them over it and you cant even hear anything so "sounds good to me" lol

You could draw some fish pics and tape them inside or Nemo stickers on the glass. Those could qualify.

Drilled a hole so that the returnpump shouldnt swallow my whole tank if the power goes out.
unfortunately it splashed alot of water to my wall so this is what i came up with.
