GHL Mitras Club

I just broke down ordered a pair of 7200s for my 110 tall. I'm hoping they will get rid of most of my shadowing that has started becoming an issue. Pretty excited to get them installed and running.

Having difficulty making connection to my computer with Mitras 6200, any suggestions?

First open up device manager on your computer. Then plug the USB from your computer to your Mitras. The Mitras needs to be powered on. As soon as you plug the USB cable in a new device should be added under Com & LPT Ports. Click the Com tab in Device manager and note the com port for the Mitras. Then open GCC and create a new connection and be sure to select the Com port that you noted in Device manager. Then connect to the light.

Thanks!
Yes, that would work....just need something that is strong horizontally and allow the use of a bolt with washer/nuts inside/out to slide in the rail and to hold the Mitras with this mount:

Should be quite easy as they have lots of different extrusions with slots in them. You would just need to use a pair of screws with a nuts and washers for the articulating mounts base so it can slide into the slot on the extrusions. Nothing a trip to the hardware store wouldn't solve.

Slief,

One last question....o.d. of the cord on the LX7206?

If I get one of these extrusions w/multiple slots (see attached pic) then I can use the other slots for cord management, ie hide the LX7 cord in the slot.
The slot is about 7/8" inside but the opening is only 0.3", so that may be too tight unless I can push it into the slot due to cord flexibility.

I note on the web page that the cord is 3m long to the power supply, but nothing about the cord od.

Otherwise, will have to run the cords along the top and hold with ties.

I will measure a cord with a caliper when I get home. Stay tuned.

Great....round, flat, etc cord....mash it into that slot, etc?
There is a cover for those slots so if it fits the cover will snap into the slot for a smooth finish.

It's definitely round. I know that much! I am sure it will fit into the slots one way or another even if you have force it in. A little heat from a hair drier or heat gun and some wire lubricant would work if it's a really tight fit. I should have the measurement posted in an hour so when I get home and find my caliper.

It's 7mm diameter which is about .25 thick. If the channel opening is .30 then it will fit in without any issues.

Fantastic! That's pretty small.

Thank you very much for taking the time....much appreciated.
I now know just what to get to support the Mitras and hide the cables.
