GHL Mitras Club

Hey reefcentral! So I ordered my mitras from their site. I was told they're on backorder and should arrive to the states in about ten days. I can't wait! I will be replacing my 36 inch ati powermodule with it. It's going to be placed over my reefer 250. At the moment there isn't anything in it. Just water. How high should I mount the mitras if I want to keep a mixed reef but mostly sps?

If I get one of these extrusions w/multiple slots (see attached pic) then I can use the other slots for cord management, ie hide the LX7 cord in the slot.
The slot is about 7/8" inside but the opening is only 0.3", so that may be too tight unless I can push it into the slot due to cord flexibility.

I note on the web page that the cord is 3m long to the power supply, but nothing about the cord od.

Otherwise, will have to run the cords along the top and hold with ties.

I just built a 8020 light rail for Lx7s. I used much smaller series 10 t-slot. The stuff is pretty sturdy. 2x1 inch for the support and 1x1 inch for the rail itself. There is a nice tool on 8020 that gives deflection based on weight. It showed < .01 inches for 10 series t-slot. I have it assembled but my lights are on back order. it seems very sturdy my stand flexes the most when I stress it. I plan to post some pics when i get it all up. I had not planned on putting the wire inside the rail but based on .25 it may fit in the .256 opening.
 
I can't wait to get mine. It's still on backorder. You guys have any idea when they'll arrive in the states? I ordered on the 28th.

I ordered 3 fixtures on 3/11. I spoke to Vinny a few days ago and he said that a shipment arrived in the US earlier this week and that he should be receiving them any day. Vinny further stated that after the fixtures are tested, they would ship out. Not sure if your order (3/28) is included in this shipment, if so, then your fixture should ship out to you any day now. I would however call Vinny on Monday to check on your order.

The pallet arrived at the USA warehouse late friday night. :)
 
Anyone upgrade their firmware manually and when completed and rebooted the program key just blinks and there is nothing on the display. I have tried several times but cant get the unit back up and running.
 
1.04 is the latest firmware yours didn't come with that version?

Oh sorry about that. I'm upgrading from 6100 to 6300 on the GHL-Control-Center-V1.0.9.6 which loads firmware pkg Mitras_V100_LX7_rom.mhx
