I have always done amino acids and tons of food and have had great success under t5s 3 inches from the water. Can't wait to try this on the LEDs I think it will be a success
Well, Mike, I have to say that that is my experience as well.
I'm in the exact same boat..
I see an acro at the shop and when I get it home under my lights, it doesn't look the same. Sometimes they end up looking nicer and sometimes worse, though..
I guess one could say that about any coral since they often change once they get into a new system.
I've made so many huge changes to my system since setting it up a year ago that I've never had decent stability for longer than a few months so I can't really say yet what my corals will look like once they really start growing...
Corals seem to need a lot of time and stability to really get happy under LEDs..
Anim8me2, your program is clearly something that you put a lot of thought into. It is very complex..
Could you give your thought process or rationale for creating the program the way you did?
I'm curius about the dramatic swings in intensities for specific leds in certain time periods as well as why they go from 0 to 100% within a given time frame..
Thanks!

I lost all but 1 Acro in the tank crash I had then followed by the power cut in January which finished them off. I have a blue tip one which survived and is doing ok, i added a Subulata frag from AAC last week so I'll see how that goes. I said to myself I wouldn't add anymore tricky SPS after all my problems as I nearly drained the tank down and packed it in completely.
