We are pleased to finally bring you the first PAR table and also pricing.

First the PAR

PAR-Distribution.jpg

The light is evenly distributed over a large area at peaks of about 600 PAR.

These are just the values of the pre-production series, GHL are quite convinced they can even improve them for the mass production!

Now the pricing

For Mitras with UV component which will be the standard lamp the cost inluding hanging kit is

1 unit = $1,299
2+ units = $1,174

Based on current information we expect one lamp to cover a 30"x24" body of water this figure will be finalised shortly.

Availability - 2-3 months after Interzoo release

Discount for pre orders starting June 1st = 15% discount (non refundable)

We do not have any further info available other than what is released herein, but will update as time goes on. I am sure you have many further questions but to save time, we will not be able to answer them so we hope for your patience.

Pics man! Didn't Mathias green light the release of actual pics? I'm pretty sure that's what he said. Specifically pics of the underside. I'll look for the thread while you post the pics. iPhone pics will do. ;)

I was just doing the math and GHL's pre-order pricing puts the Mitras on par with some other LED's that lack the features shared previously. I'm in!!!

Thanks for the update!

No - everything that has been released to us is here, we are not holding anything back, no reason to.

I am told that under belly pictures will com shortly.

Sounds like June 1st is going to be a GREAT day to be on board to get in line for Pre-Orders here!

Can't wait to hear more details as they are released :)

Hi Rotknee,

I live in Simi Valley too and thinking about getting back in to the hobby. Perhaps you would be willing to chat a bit and we can share some stories? :).

I built one of the first large tanks in a home back in 2000. It was a 450 gallon tank and quite successful until divorce struck :).

I have nothing now :).

Let me know,

Scott

I know we have to wait three weeks...what about those in Germany?

Michael, do you know if they are actually releasing the units to the locals (Germans) yet? If you come across a German forum where someone actually has one please post a link. I would appreciate seeing actual user feedback.

I was looking at the specs again and the Mitras is going to be one powerful light. Acclimation is key. Looking forward to more info on the software as well.

Anyone receive their units yet?
Mine are in the 2nd shipment but would love to hear from anyone using them now...

cool...I got my proflilux ultimate pack and can't wait for the Mitras to arrive...but I still have several weeks to go...

Ok, I know I will get some backlash for this question but I need to ask it. Can mitras be controlled through an apex? Months back I purchased an apex full package and I was really on the fence between an apex and a profilux. I really should have stuck with my gut and went for the profilux. But what's done is done. I was planning on purchasing two kessil A350's and control them with the apex. I had information that kessil had planned on making a controllable version, different than the tunable version they have now. But the mitras really looks nice and is starting to possibly change my plans for my tank. I read that profilux can control mitras, can an apex do it? Again sorry about asking but I need to.
