So my Golden Heart Trigger is eating very well. Absolutely loves krill and silversides. Is there anything maybe alive I could give him as a treat? Something he can hunt just like it would in the wild? I just want to make my trigger buddy as happy as possible.

ghost shrimp and fiddler crabs are a favorite of my undulatus. I actually ask the lfs to hold onto some of their crabs from liverock shipments for me to feed to the undy. good times to see a large trigger attack a crab the size of a silver dollar

Does anyone know of a dealer online for ghost shrimp or fiddler crabs? What about snails? I have a problem with algae so could I just throw in a bunch of turbo snails every now and again? Or would my trigger just gorge himself to the point of unhealthy??

I have a ton of little Cortez hermits in with my undy. For the most part she leaves them alone, except for the occasional jaunt around the tank with one in her mouth. They do a real nice job on algae and uneaten food that reaches the bottom. I think anything bigger would just be a snack for her. Hope this helps.

Are the cortez hermits tiny?

most of mine are pretty small. i'd say .5"-.75" for most of them, with a few over 1". small enough to where they aren't worth her time.

'round here you can get fiddlers really cheap at the asian market. You might consider some quality pellets as well like New Life Spectrum.

You also might be suprised how much it likes to eat Nori. All of my triggers love it.
