Giantea Vs. Haddoni

I'm really interested in getting a carpet anemone. But I'm a little confused about which of these two to get. I've attempted to do research on them but no one really has a good comparison chart for the two. So I figured I'd ask.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of Stichodactyla Haddoni (Haddon'd (Saddle Carpet) Sea Anemone) and Stichodacyla Gigantea (Gigantic (Giatn Carpet) Sea Anemone)?

Gigantea is the more difficult of the two IMHO.

Haddoni likes calm water. Gigantea likes turbulent water.
Haddoni lives in the sand. Gigantea lives on rocks.
Haddoni has a bad reputation for eating fish. Gigantea can eat fish, but doesn't have the same reputation.

Those are the major differences as far as care goes. They both require high quality bright light, great water quality, and IMHO good food.

Added to EC. Haddoni are much easier to keep than Gigantes. Gigantea is likely the most difficult to keep of all clown fish hosting anemones. They don't ship well and very unforgiven if anything become unstable in the tank.

Thanks guys. I guess Ill be getting a haddoni. A nice blue one. Btw this forum is probably the best out there.

How long has your tank been setup? What kind of lighting do you have? Have you had anemones before?

My tank has been setup for 7 months but the rock came from an established tank (15 years +). I have a wave point T5 lighting system (4 bulbs) but I upgraded the bulbs, Giessaman. The Tank is 24"x24''x48" with a 2" deep sandbed, the lights at 4" off the surface. I've had a sebae anemone for 1.5 years (in my previous tank) and he's happy and hosting my clowns who grew up with it. I feed it mysis shrimp once every week.

I wouldn't suggest adding a different species of anemone if you already have a sebea in there. Its best to stick to one species per tank

The guy I work for (aquarium service) actually is going to take it out and put it in one of our customer's tanks.
