I've been doing some reading on 250W DE halides and the signs appear to be that the Giesemann ballasts with the Aqualine bulbs provide an efficient and potent combination for the reef tank.

The IceCap MH ballast simply couldn't compete on driving the various bulbs.
Only problem is that there's currently only one store in the US that currently carries Giesemann and they're located in Austin, TX. Living in SoCal as I am, it seems a pity to have to order it from halfway across the country when one of the biggest retailers is right around the corner...
Are there any plans to carry Giesemann products in the near future? I could wait for a few months for the lighting upgrade if you guys thought that you might pursue that (lord knows my wallet could use a temporary respite from this hobby
