Gig in bare bottom

Was wondering if gigs would work in a bare bottom tank? My main tank has sand but my 50gal fuge which houses another pair of clowns just has lr, and cheato but is bare bottom.

Yes, they do just fine. If you can find a piece of live rock with a crevice big enough for a gig's foot that would be the best. Otherwise, they can attach on and between the rocks. No problem at all.

They are rock anemones. They prefer to be in a rock pile, and don't really prefer to be in sand.

Thanks i think i got them mixed up with a diff anemone. For some reason i thought they were a sand anemone

Would a crispa be ok in bare bottom? Ive read they are fine in rocks and sand.

My Crispa is wedged between rocks just above the sand. Should be ok. The Haddoni though loves the sand.
