which will be easier long term. had a green haddon but it was a fish eater. see reefhotspot has some nice blu gig's in stock, btw have plenty of flow and light 2 vortechs and a 8 bulb t5 that has kept my clam very happy on the sand

Haddoni without a doubt is the easier of the two.

It helps to find a healthy haddoni also to live in an aquarium. I rescued one from a tank that had no lighting. He just fed it. It is big and beautiful blue.

Can likely count the number of happy gigantea anemones in the hobby on your fingers and toes. They seem to be "easy" if they survive the first few months, unfortunately you might need to buy a bunch over the next year to get one to survive that long.

Much easier to locate healthy haddoni.

You're right....I'd give my left arm for a purple haddoni. I don't ever recall seeing a purple haddoni ever available online before. :sad1:
