Gigantea on DD

For anyone who's interested in a S. gigantea, there is one on Divers Den right now. They say it's blue, but it looks purple to me.

Forgot to mention -- price is $299. It's got the typical "balding" of a stressed gig, but the color looks good. However, I've seen a few bleached gigs pull through, while these ones with what seems to look like a healthy zooxanthellae population, tend to die after about a month. LA/DD says that they quarantine their DD anemones until ready for sale, but I'm not sure what this means exactly.

That's a nice-looking PURPLE gigantea. It is even priced fairly reasonably - last purple gigantea I bought retail here in Southern Cal went for $250 (though it was HUGE).

Dude u were supposed to lmk when u got one. Scott said he'd try to get another when I seen him Sunday. I just got one off dd so well see. I wouldn't even think of putting it with the one u have now. U have came along way with it and I wouldn't chance the spread of something.

Did you guys notice that the photo was taken at an odd angle? It doesn't look like it's taken from their standard photo raceway, but almost as if it's in a tank. I guess it's not a big deal, just not the norm for DD.
