I am sorry, but i do not like the looks of this tank at all..
1. Your corals are way to big!
2. all that color really hurts the eyes, its not pleasant to look at!
3. The sheer variety of corals is really confusing.. not something i would aim for.
Plus it would make a nice addition if you chop up some xenia and throw in there to grow in between all your corals! :hmm4: :hmm4:
And by the way, none of what i just wrote is true...
Simply amazing my friend

As many people have said it earlier, yours is truly a beautiful tank and truly inspirational. I feel personally much inspired and happy to see this tank for many reasons; including that I have just set up a similar sized tank (150cm x 120cm x 75cm) and that i have decided to go with similar light (maxspect razors) and your tank goes to show what can be achieved with it. As a beginner in this experience (with tank being about 2 months old) i have many questions and I feel that you would be able help me with few specific questions.
1. Could you describe your method of using lanthanum chloride and how you arrived at it.
2. How high above the water line do you keep the lights.
3. What percentage of channel 1 (white) and Channel 2 (blue) do you keep your lights at.
What other suggestions will you have from your first 6 months of the tank besides the ULN experience of zeobak. I do not use or plan to use zeobak or any other ULN experience. I am hoping to keep nitrates like yours (below 20 but detectable). I currently use ROWAphos for phosphate reduction and used Carbon (TLF) for clearing up water some. Besides i plan to rely on skimming and big refugium (300 liters) with cryptic zone for benthic organism and Deep Sand bed. I do plan to start using balling but i am thinking of a simplified form as a three part solution or similar approach. I am also interested in learning more about adding frequent bacterial products and/or adding frequent Pods (like copepods) in the tank.

:eek1::eek1::eek1: I was thinking in my head this dude is either crazy or playing a serious joke. The first thought was false. This is truly and amazing tank.
Thanks for the detailed reply Peder. It is very helpful. And I would love to see some new pictures of your tank. Can you tell us about your dosing method, coral food and other products you might use.
