Gimp Royal Gamma

Im having some concern about the way my Royal Gamma is swimming since she has added, its bout 4 days now. Im not sure if this is a behavior where its just being cautious of the percs or actually is having an issue.

She isn't completely on her side or anything its more like how a chicken or a bird would tip its head to the side.

Looks pretty normal to me at this stage. It the tilt always to the same side or does it vary?

Seems like she prefers that one side, to be tilted downward and will occasionally tilt the other way for a moment.

She has started to swim all over the tank in the last day instead of just hiding in around the one cave she took residence in, I suppose thats some what a good sign.:fish2:

Well, imo, it's not behavior to be worried about... I wouldnt be if it was my fish.

When they start having a hard time holding their balance and their height in the water column, that's when I become concerned.

She hovers and did this nose up slide thing like she surfing the current from the power-heads thats like pretty cool, Thanks for the help and pointers. Sounds like its just getting used to a new home

Royal Grammas often swim upside down or even sideways on the reef . It seems as if they orient their undersides to whatever the angle of the nearest solid surface may be.

She's doing great seems like she is eatting pods cause she wont touch pellets or frozen foods looks like she has a fat tummy.
