Glass mark

I got my newly built fish tank 6x2.5x2. Theres is a mark on the glass on the side. Is this something I have to worry about?

Can you feel where the mark is? What does it feel like? Looks like it might just be a smear of silicone from the picture.

Who built the tank?

You tried both inside and outside of the glass, right? Can you clean it off with a damp rag maybe? I’m a bit baffled by this and grasping at straws here.

I woul have to agree with @griss thought process either excess silicone or just a water mark. It could be a calcium build up. If that’s the case, it is likely on the outside (should show under water) and a little vinegar and water should help get rid of it or the use of a razor blade to scrape it off

That's what it looks like to me. Vinegar and elbow grease should do the trick.

I see a large number of marks on the glass. Not sure which you are talking about? None look like cracks.
