Glass Scraping Question

I have a small 24 gallon cube and the back wall is covered in a white/green crusty algae. I want to scrape it all off so the background is all black once again.

Can I do a all-at-once scraping or should I go small patches at a time? Will this cause any probs within the tank?

I always do all-at-once scrapings. But now i've learned to do little scrapings, just more often so it doesnt build up that much.

I rarely scrape anything off the back of the tank.

lol ya good point. I should have put..."i scrape off the sides and front more often now" instead. Cuz actually i just stacked my rock recently so that you can only see very little of the back so it doesnt matter

I always do little scrapings at a time, only because it takes too long otherwise. I dont want all the extra stuff in the water and I dont want my hands in the tank for a long time. Guess I need to invest in those gloves....
