What a staggering day. Feels like the emotional equivilent of a punch in the gut.
Personally I'm lucky. Twenty miles away from the tradegy, and my kids too old to know anyone involved. But OMG, the horror of what our neighbors are dealing with tonight! My heart aches for their pain. At Christmas time.
My son works in a local grocery store (again, we are 20 miles away) and he said practically NO ONE came in the store today. And those that did were somber. No smiles. No talking. Clearly we are all stunned.
God bless those in Newtown. And God guide our country as we try to learn from this tradegy.
