Gonna try my first clam.. been keeping sps good for 4 or so months tank is about 9 months old with no problems.. What species of clam would be the best, i have a 4x54 t5 with slr's two 10,000k and 2 actinic plusses. For flow i have a MJ1200 high flow mod (rated 3500 gph i think or maybe it was 2500, i cant remember) so flow is somewhat high due to sps corals.. will a clam be okay in a high flow situation?? what kind of things do i have to do for the clam, target feed ?? anything like that???

thanks

Any clam will b fine 4 your set-up.Any clam 2" & under will require lost of DT's phyto,so IMO stay away from the little guys.

It is my understanding that clams do not like a lot of flow. You might want to place it in a low flow area of your tank. HTH

My maximas get tons of flow,& IMO they love it,it has made them much less skittish. They dont retract if a fish swims by because of all the flow.
