I mentioned wanting a black long nose tang. Price has gone through the roof on them. I was expecting $400 retail. They're almost $600 whole sale now. Saw it wit my own eyes. BRUTAL!

Depends on where they're coming from, but [generally] the smaller they are, the pricier they become. $600 wholesale seems irregular though. IIRC they were around $450-500/ea. (retail) when I bought mine.

The Goldflake is an awesome angel, but too risky for me to want to try!

Yeah JC, I was a little shocked. I expected around $400, which would have been a stretch at best. We looked at a vendor site, not sure if it was IIRC. $579 wholesale :eek1:

Way up from a year or two ago. Maybe black long noses drive SUVs and it's a gas money issue

Picked up a Goldflake for $150 OTD

Picked up a Goldflake for $150 OTD

Great fish,settled right in to my 110 gallon tank. Was beat up at the store and moved to another tank where it healed up a became a bully itself. The store gave me a great deal as they like to keep fish moving and Ive bought several other fish there.
