Finally!!!! After YEARS of waiting!!!!! My Gold stripe maroons have laid...

EGGS!!!!!

I'll try to post pictures later. I've had a piece of tile in there forever. Their little mouths have been white from cleaning for a few months now but I never saw any eggs. I put a new bubble tip in there a week ago, and it seems to of done the trick. they took up residence in it right away. A week later i have eggs. They already had two bubble tips in there before but apparently they werent good enough. This one did the trick. I am not going to try to raise t his batch I'm going to let it go, but I'm hoping to try to raise the next batch. I'm getting ready to start my phyto and rotifer cultures!!! this is so exciting!

If anyone breeds these or can help me out with length of time it takes for eggs to hatch etc. I'd love some help!

Thanks,
Crystal

here they are. this is their first batch so it is small I am hoping they will be growing in size. I am in the process of setting up a phyto culture, and than after that is going a rotifer culture. I am going to try to raise some babies!!!!

there appears to be a few hundred but these type of clowns apparently do thousands of eggs! I cant wait. we currently have 11 pairs of clownfish and this is our first egg batch. The plan is to eventually be raising clownfish full time.

Current pairs we have are
Gold stripe maroons
pink skunks
true perc
false perc pairs x 5
cinnamon clowns
black occelaris
clarki
