the way tentacles are coming off other tentacles makes me think a green fuzzy mushroom?.. but i could be incredibly wrong..

looks like a damaged BTA. some heavy feeding will help that tissue regenerate and the tentacles come back to nice and full. looks relatively healthy actually.

thanks for your posts,i have a bta and dont think its that, closest resemblance i can find is frogspawn coral??it dosnt appear to have a mouth, but has a foot like a nem?confused, need to identify....

:headwalls::headwalls:thanks for your input, i do not think it is any type of mushroom, this morning it was balled up in a bulb before i put the metal halide on, please see enclosed image, im sure its a nem, but cant find a mouth, it is sticky as well, very very confused, need to no asap if this guys freindly............

My rice and mushrooms ball up like that when they catch something... wouldn't rule out it being a mushroom or ricorida of some type.

and to top that off, im overrun with digitate hydroids, have a manjano in my sump, and just spotted 3 aptaisia on my live rock..... who said marine keeping was easy!

do they look the same then? just that looks very much like how my majano in the sump room goes when fed...

my green fuzzy mushroom balls up just like that... when they get some food sometimes, and i use to have a maroon clownt hat would swim into and swim out when it was only like 1/2 balled up

giant hairy mushroom , looks like it was on the bottom of the box on the ride over though...

yer i thought something like that, im not to sure wether there was 2 different types on the same rock, looks like chemical warfare has been going on between 2 of them, theres patches of pinky stringy stuff next to the "yuma" which i think is something that has been eaten?
