Good guy worm or not

Been seeing these guys around a bit and am having some trouble with LPS. Today I picked up a coral and this guy was hiding underneath. Doesnt have the coloration I'm used to seeing with bristleworms.

those aren't bristles. I'd have said oenone at first glance, but they're harmless bristle-types. Is Leslie still around? This is up Leslie's alley, for sure. I've never, ever seen a worm like this. I'd drop it into the fuge and see what it does in its spare time.

An amphinomidae, probably an Eurythoe. Back in 1995 someone estimated there were 19 genera and about 130 species. It's pretty hard to figure out the species without a specimen to put under the microscope.

My gut tells me its a good guy because the only time I see them is when food is introduced to the tank. I havent noticed any odd behavior. Thanks I'll continue to keep an eye on them.

I've got tons of these guys, never ever had a problem although they do get big. Excellent free clean up crew.
