good lighting? quick please

for my 55 reef that i am getting, what specific company and bulbs should i use. I was thinking abou 2 of the orbit sundial pendants woth 1 250 halide and 2 32 watt pcs. I need to get the answer fast because i need to order them soon.

also, if i got the fixture what do you think about the 250 watt version for my 55 gallon. i want to keep sps and high light coral. will trhe 150s be enough? which is better, out of the two that you shoed me?

FWIW, I think 150s would be lots on a 55. Never going to give the same intensity as a 250, but that will be a lot of light.

Its up to you on the wattage, if you are ever going to upgrade the tank i would go with 250, the 55 is will be more then plenty and then when you have the upgrade you already have the lighting.

I would look at www.reefexotics.com for lumenarc retro fit kits...but they are definatly not the prettiest..not that bad..but not as sleek as a fixture....but the reflector rocks!

2-250 14k halides would be perfect.....I dont know where the tank is going so i am noit sure if this would work heat wise but the corals would love it

You can always slap in 4 T5HO. I run 4 in my show tank, 4 in my sump tank, and 2 in my spare tank. Workhorse or IceCap ballast. Bulbs are cheaper then MH. Really depends on what you are going to keep. For SPS you should run the 250 MH w/ some T5's, now were talking...
