Good quite skimmer

Im having a 315g tank being built and looking for a good quite skimmer. Any recommendations?

I second ATB. I run a 10.5 deluxe on my 300. More than enough for your size as well. I've got 32 fish and feed 2-3 cubes a day. Used to feed 3-4 a day.

+1 on the ATB 10.5 deluxe. I have one that I am getting ready to sell. I've had it for 3yrs and was in storage for about 15 months. It has some crazing on the bottom cone but still works flawlessly. I am cleaning it up now...pm me if you're interested.

That's awesome. Maybe I should feed more, but my tangs are already 3/4" thick. Do you run a 1260?

I was looking into RE for a skimmer with the latest and greatest dc pumps. It's funny because I was undecided to which one was right for my system and decided to email them. Never got a response. After reading all the venting in the thread provided I am kind of glad I am going with ATB. ATB was my second choice and should of been my first.

Reasons for going with ATB:
I got a response within a day.
All my questions were answered and if the pump breaksdown its more affordable and available.
It also comes in white!

I will be picking up a Deluxe 10.5 for my current upgrade build.

I agree about the pumps it wont cost arm and a leg to replace the pump but the craftsmanship on the skimmer is awesome.

Also Chad is another Roger from tunzeusa in my experience maybe better since he is only 1 hour away.

You only feed 2-3 cubes for that many fish? Are they large cubes?

Mostly small fish. Only 3 tangs. They were getting too fat on 3-4/day so I cut back. Everything is still nice and thick, just no double chins.

Quoyi ( lost a pair today)
On sps mixed reef with minimal aquascape so the skimmer needs to work

Some of them grown 1-2" a month and very very fat

I just received a package today from Chad ofAtb usa and he hook me up with an upgraded large venturi and silencer without asking for it what a great guy.
