Amazing system. Unique and very special.

On the last page you showed a photo of the food you use and listed the contents.

Can you explain how often you feed and how much?

Hello der willie

the feeding is two times per day and it is for slow dripping.
the quantity is variable, because also I use a mix of other things.

but, also I can feed of form in frozen buckets directly to the column of the water.

thanks for his comments!

in the topic of the lighting, there are changes and soon I will modify for another leds: www.faciled.es

10 Power LED 3W (1050mA) cool white 15.000th Kelvin mounted on 22mm PCB star and 5 LED 3w pink color

also this topic will have a change to a friend, because in the end only it remains alone with some gorgonias that will change to a nanoazoox.

soon I will chat of the change

I looked through your thread - the gorgonian are just amazing. Right now I have 2 gorgonians and i'll looking to get more.
I noticed you mix your own food. can you tell us what your most recent formula is. I also noticed you have some items in your last recipe of things that would seem to big for the polyps to capture (massage, clams, shrimp) - can you explain that (maybe I just don't know).

Google Translate is a wonderful thing. I looked up this link and it was in Spanish.

Coltrref, your English is great but I came withing one point of being kicked off of the foot ball team in highschool because my spanish was so bad. Now I would rate a test score of zero.

I copied and pasted http://www.easyreefs.com/ into Google Translate and the web site was translated into English including the formatting. I guess that I am behind the times.

Freese dryed phytoplankton. Is that all that you use?

I am absolutely amazed that it is so simple. We call that the "Silver Bullet". So many of us have searched, for so many years, through so many exotic products with "secret" formulas, when the true has been sitting right in front of us. Your success is overwhelming and it is accomplished so simply. I am amazed!

Whether one uses liquid or paste, still alive or dead, is another issue all together. As I see it, that is just a question of how you intend to handle the eventual nutrient load in your tank but the bottom line is that all you need for Gorgonians is phyto.

Wow and Thank you.

also look for years a formula capable enough to be kept alive many mouths and not just gorgonians, but also of tubastreas and dendros.

for some years used in paste or liquid combinations as noted in his comment, but in the end my theory is that in a natural habitat that should never have is the phyto.

with food containing Nannochloropsis, Tetraselmis and Phaeodactylum is until today, which helps keep me.

feeding can be continuous or manually.
is manually two per day.

regarding nutrient loading on the issue of NO3, the biopellets have helped as a small refuge with chaeto.

with respect to PO4, the same parameters shelter holds low, but if necessary the rowa is salvation.

years also use the Lanthanum Chloride with great success, but it is not necessary, because these algae do not add PO4 to the water column.

thank
