Got 2 of them out (pics)

I was able to get the 2 blue ones out last night. One of them is about 2 inches long and the small one is about 1.5 inches.
I had to take the rock out and squirt soda water in the holes. I also found what I think were 2 pistol shrimp that got chased out by the soda water. I put them back in the tank.
The Red Mantis however would not come out of the rock no matter how much soda water that I put in and with no luck I had to get the rock back in the tank. Sure enough the red one came out a few minutes after the rock was placed back into the tank. This guy is smart. Here are the pics of the shrimp.

Try using a water bottle for a trap. Cut off the top part and turn it around and put back on top. Put some food for bait inside the bottle and be patient. The mantis will go in and not be able to get out. Check out my photo gallery for some pics. Good luck

N. wennerae, but it doesn't matter color-wise, they shift colors. The tailtip (telson) shape ID the species.

Oh-oh...if you want them to stay in the living, put them in SEPERATE containers. They're highly territorial and there is a good chance they will kill each other if confined together.
