My S. Hadonni has arrived. Here is the acclimation process. Ill post more once it settles in. I also added another 20lb bag of fiji sand. So the tank is a bit cloudy. This thing is so stick I couldnt nudge it off my fingers.

Im still thinking what type of clowns I should throw in here. I might go with some skunks.

Here it is....

Got it through my LFS. I got some stuff hes wanted that I found at RAP so I bought it and we traded. All in al it was 30$.

Its around 8 inches in diameter. Its buried in the sand and I fed it some raw shrimp.

Im going to get me some pink skunks for this anemone.:D

nice one... i would shoot for one but im not too into something that could pick off one of my fish so easly...unless it wasone of my god forsakin chromis :D

Nice carpet, My F1sh R D34D. Base on the video you've provided, I am a little worried for your flame angel (I think that's what it was on the video) as it was swimming around by the carpet.

Yeah thats why i have to get 2 clowns to host this anemone to kind of scare away the other fish.

I already installed moonlights since I was reading that the fish get picked off at night. I have around 15w of Moon Blue LED's.

Gabe you cant call me a reefgeek yet because I havent spent over $1,000.00 on a skimmer yet. LOL

You can find blue carpets everywhere. But rarely in good health. Mine ate a big piece of shrimp. I need to get some orange skunks but the damn LFS didint have any.

Sam,

Aquarium City had a pair of Skunks as of Sunday afternoon. I can't remember what they wanted for them though.

I my experiance it won't matter if you have clowns or a night light.
Clowns don't really care that much about other fish in the tank and I've seen haddoni catch fish in the middle of the day.
If your haddoni anemone is healthy it will likely just be a matter of time before it makes a meal out of the dwarf angel.

Yea but they help.

In this case it will be survival of the fittest.

IME clowns always help. Thats why Im looking for a nice pair of WC skunks to keep my anemone well fed. Some have kept carpets without fatality for years, some experience a fish loss overnight. Its like getting a Angel and hoping its reef safe.

I see my cleaner shrimp kinda playing around it and jumping over it. Ill take a video of it:lol:

I high percentage of fish getting eaten by a Hadonni is because they are hungry. These carpets need alot more that just light, Im feeding it everyday so far. So we'll c.
