got Naso?

post pix of your Naso Tang! One catch- make sure to mention:
* the size of your aquarium
* how long you've had the fish
* the size of the fish
* whether or not it's still alive

I'm especially interested in seeing lunkers... the big boys.

Quick picture of my Naso Tang. Sorry I didn't clean the glass first.
180 Gallon tank
Had him 9 months
Hes roughly 6 inches
When I purchased him he was so so small. ABC Reefs had to special order him because I wanted the smallest one I could get. He was so tiny back then. Now hes fat and healthy!

I can't find the camera, so I'll have to get a picture later. You got me curious, so I went and looked through my reef log book. I bought my Naso September 20th 2005, so I've had it almost 5 years. Hard to measure, but it's between 6 and 7 inches long Started in a 120, currently living in a 180.

I have a hard time keeping them for more than 3 years. Some of the tanks I've had them in are larger than 300 gallons.

I only had this guy for a short period. I thought my 180 was big enough but it clearly wasn't. He was 12-14" long and now resides in a 1000 gal tank comfortably.

Honestly I felt great getting this guy into a larger tank but I can see him outgrowing even my tank someday

Not a rescue he has been in a friends tank for a very long time and he was just ready for a larger tank. This is one of those stories where a responsible reefer did the right thing and moved him to a bigger home. So he was a good fit as my bio load in the 210 will be very small. Well besides him I mean.

here's a 17" vlamingii in an 8ft. 320g
