What camera did you use? been there many times with this cruise and dived there scuba and snorkle many times but cannot get clear pictures. Thanks

It was my old Canon SD400 Elph with the Canon underwater housing. I was pretty surprised that they turned out as well as they did!

Did your cruise leave on Dec. 18th? The Destiny? If so, we were on that one. If not, we took the same Itinerary around the same time. We did an excursion with the cruise line at Grand Caymen. We did one with the stingrays and snorkeling. The stingrays were awesome, they were almost puppy dog like. It was funny, but the snorkeling after was pretty sad. I know the spot they took us was just because it was close to the stingray sand bar, but I was surprised from the great things I had heard. We are going again this summer but will be diving. Do you happen to know what side of the island you were on?

How funny! Yes, it was that same cruise! We specifically didn't want to go to the stingrays. It took a while to get to the reef that we went to, but it was obviously more remote, thus the great looking coral. Ours was the only boat out there, which was also nice. It's no fun when there are more people than fish in the water with you

Great pics, I have used fosters charter a few times... They were great. Did they tell you that you were not allowed to wear gloves? I guess if they catch you wearing them, it's a huge fine.

No they didn't mention gloves. They did emphasize not to touch ANYTHING, even going into why (living coral polyps, etc), which impressed me. I guess the concept is if you aren't touching anything, you shouldn't need gloves
