Grape Caulerpa?

i have a 55 gallon aquarium with a hangon style refugium. Would growing Grape Caulerpa cauese any potential problems? Could it get into the tank. I have read nightmare stories about the stuff and i am new to the hobby.
I am also planning on putting in chaetomorpha and Gracilaria... Grape stuff not worth the hassle? just use the other stuff?
I also have a small powder blue tang that devours nori and even loves other fish foods. So maybe she/it will eat any potential problems?

If a piece of the caulerpa gets into your tank then it could start growing. No suprizes there I hope. I don't find it difficult to remove, though. Just pull it up. I keep lots of different types of caulerpa and haven't had any problems. There is a risk that they will decide to reproduce sexually which results in the death of the parental thallus. This is especially likely if you have "zero" or nearly zero detectable nitrates.
