I can't imagine what it would be like to be where you were diving in that reef. I really need to learn to swim better than I can. Thanks for sharing.
 
Did you have a special flash attached to your camera? The colors come out great! A lot of my underwater shots are very blue much like my reef tank photography! Haha!

believe it or not, i'm a very weak swimmer.....I barely passed my swim test....no joke!

lol!...nope, no flash used....I just auto white-balanced and started snapping pics. The reason why the pics are so vibrant, was due to my camera...it does a surprisingly GREAT job on colours.....also, I did a wack of post-processing in Photoshop to get rid of all the blue "haze" associated with the underwater pics....you should see what the original pics look like! hahah

the one time I did use flash it was horrible...all you could see were the suspended particles highlighted like snow in the image.

P.S. My favorite is all the green hair algea. Such a vivid bright green :p

soft corals covering the very top sections of the reef...I even saw some exposed during low tide

Man fantastic photos! The green tipped maxima was awesome. That rainbow Magnificent anemone really caught my eye...never knew that shade existed.
