I agree the meeting was a good chance to see some great tanks, get ideas for my tank, and eat some good food! Krista and I loved it. Like I said at the meeting, If you guys are interesting in stopping down to Fargo next time, Ill host the meeting at my place. My tanks are quite laughable compared to your tanks but it would be a chance to see some tanks running well on a severly limited college budget. : ) Ill start a new thread and post some of my tank pictures. Looking forward to the next meeting!

Hey Matt,

Great that you guys can make it. Yes a Fargo meeting would be great. May be Mike can arrange for a tank tour for all of us. If the Glad that Xenia has survived so far.

I'm up for the trip. May have to drive separate as I may leave earlier. Matt, don't worry about looks of your tank, we have all been there and know what it was like. Be proud you are getting such an early start in this hobby and especially in this day and age. When I started, I was advised to use an UGF (undergravel Filter). Trust me, you're in good hands.

I forgot to tell everyone at the meeting that there is a saltwater pet store here in little ole Thief River Falls. Nothing too crazy, but it's better than nothing. New owners are taking over and I plan to enlighten them with what the "could" do to attract business. I plan to post a meeting notice and club info as well. I think we should stick with the "Red River Reef Club" for now until we get a bigger consensus.

We are thinking of something in August...about August 12th. Matt from Fargo said he would host the meeting at his apartment....may be you guys can coordinate get all the people there together. We can drive down from Grand Forks.
