Green Bird Wrasse Beak Growth Abnormal?

Hey,

My green bird wrasse has a bizarre growth on his beak. These guys already have some strange tissue which grows like callous or even a birds beak at maturity, but this is clearly not normal. The tissue is the same blue/ green with no dis-coloration. It just appears to be an eraser sided growth coming off his lower jaw. He appears to be in no way encumbered by this and eats fine/ is very active. I'd post a better pic but as I'm sure you know these suckers are fast.

Should I be concerned?
