Green carpet

I have the pictures at home...slacker here hasn't even downloaded them off his camera yet :D. I'll get them up this weekend.

Yes, once the internal and external structures are complete. One day it will "pop" off and then be completely independent.
 
Cool. It hasn't really changed in about 4 months, do you have any idea how long it takes? By the way, my purple Atlantic anemone has one very tumescent tenacle, is that a similar process?
 
If it has been that long it may just be a damaged or abnormal growth of tissue. Just closely observe the mass, if a mouth begins to form then you know.
