Green Chromis acting funny!

Hi all,
I noticed about a 10 days ago my chromis was not eating properly - he RARELY eats pellets or flake food anymore and will occasionally munch on cyclops when i feed my coral - the past few days he has been acting REALLY weird - he stays looking upward in the corner of the tank near the filter and does not move for hours - this morning i caught him swimming backwards and fighting with the blood shrimp - he looks noticably smaller/scaly/and not as colorful as well - im guessing he is stressed since his partner took a leap from the tank about a month back - is this known with chromiss? any precautiosn i should take or anything you can suggest me doing?

I have 4 chromis in my tank, and the smallest of the bunch hangs out in the corner most of the time. He does eat, but still you can tell he is picked on. This type of behavior is very common in this type of fish. Seeing as how you only have one, my first guess would be that he is being harassed by something else in the tank. He is probably hanging out in the corner because he gets beat up every time he ventures outward. There really isn't much you can do besides try to give him a chance to eat and hope for the best.

i heard that chromis get very agressive and will hold down a spot in the tank - no one really messed with him before - i will take pics of him later tonight so you can see how he looks.
