Green Frogspawn seems to be shrinking

My Frogspawn seems to be shrinking in size. It does not seems to want to grow. I have had it for about 6 months. i dont know if its not getting enough light or too much. Does this coral require regular feeding of anything but light? I did have it on the top towards the light, but about 1 1/2 months ago i moved it down half way.

Moving it away from the light might be part of the problem but yes, weekly feedings with phyto is recommended.

Frogspawn thrive off strong light and moderate flow. Put it back on top if possible. Also check you PH. They are sensitive to shifts in PH.

I feed cyclopeeze and phyto to the tank as a whole and my frogspawn is growing like crazy, ditto the hammer. They sit 8 inches under the water surface under 250 mh.

Thanks for your reply. What brand pf Phyto do you recommend and do you feed directly or just pour it in the water?

I prefer feeding mine something more solid like thawed frozen food dispensed via pipette, or thinly sliced seafood like cuttlefish or bits of shrimp. Sometimes I'll even just drop dry pellets on it, by the time it gets to its mouth, they've softened.

Frogspawn akot better, Now i need some Halides

Its has been just about 3 months since i posted this and i am happy to say after feeding the tank with marine planckton with cyclopeze and mysis shrimp 4 times a week to the tank, the frogspawn is looking much better. It has gotton its color back. It has grown some but i need to upgrade my lights. I only have 4 T5 's in a fixture from Current usa. It is fairly bright but the reflector is one wide one instead of seperate ones and i need something more dramatic. After recently adding some Acropora and Pocillapora to my tank i think i need to upgrade to some halides. The problem is, I only have a 7" high canopy. Anyone have any suggestions what to use for lighting?
