Also, isn't it funny with words we've read a hundred times but never heard said out loud. I always read "Gyre" as pronounced "Jire" (rhyming with "hire.") kind of like when I read "hyperbole" as a teen and thought it was "HY-per bowl." English is hard!

I really want to set up a night cam like that, though I have no idea how to light the tank enough for any camera I have to be able to make an image that isn't a big blur because of a very long exposure time to get a decent image.

Haha. I've never heard Gyre pronounced. Never would have guessed it's Jire. (It if was spelled Gyro, I would get it right). I pronounce Gyroscope, and Gyros Sandwiches properly.

It's not Canadian, it's just me, a Polish Canadian, born in Toronto.

Thanks for the pronunciation correction. I'll have to redo that Video again before folks give me a nickname or something.

I always did struggle with Ardiuno, in my head it's Arduno somehow. Say Ardiuno 5 times fast properly.

I'm now more convinced it was worth the effort to clean up my wiring in my sump room last year.

I really want to set up a night cam like that, though I have no idea how to light the tank enough for any camera I have to be able to make an image that isn't a big blur because of a very long exposure time to get a decent image.

That is a night vision cam. It uses Infrared, it's built in (Can see in total Darkness). You see them everywhere and they are cheap.

Another project I did with it was I thought I had mice in the basement, but traps wouldn't catch them, didn't know why. I setup two of those Night Cams pointing at 3 traps loaded with different bait. Motion detection turned on in total Darkness.

I figured it out. Mice were really tiny, and not strong enough to push the trap lever. Or a few time they were fast enough to jump away.
It was funny to watch them do back flips, after getting food and trap didn't go off. They were trained to jump in case it did go off.

They would come and eat the food and laugh at the camera. (Did a small sensor adjustment on trap, and the rest isn't funny).

So I have enough to release Part one pretty soon, but it would be kind of Just an intro, not much plot, and certainly no ending.

SHOULD I RELEASE (A PART ONE) early, or wait till it's completed??? Or how about some still teasers?

Could take a few more months the way things are going. (Son is in first year high school, and I don't get any help anymore, with Effect Editing)

You were correct, Gyre is pronounced "J-eye Er".

At least that is how the BRS TV guru said it.

You can always just google pronunciation. There are youtube videos that are pretty good for pronunciation of most words. A lot of the dictionary websites provide small audio clips of the pronunciation as well.

And don't feel bad, I just corrected the spelling on pronunciation three times above because in my head I said it to myself as "pronounciation".

Also, since we're on the subject, Arduino is not spelled Ardiuno, nor pronounced that way (even though I used to pronounce it as Ardiuno when I started with it. It is Arduino, Ar-doo-ee-noh).
